2 days to NS enlistment

Hi people. 1 mths nvr post le. Guess in army come out got more interesting stuff to post ba. lol. Going in tekong bmtc school 2 in 2 days time. Time flies. When I just got my enlistment letter I counted for my days, I got 120days more and now is 120-118 = 2days!!!!. so fast so fast the year is going to end soon, just to ask a question. How many of you have completed 75% of your new year resolution? Honestly speaking I only completed 50%. But nvr brought forward to next years.

Sounds familiar to those taking POA? Balance b/f. LOL this is resolution b/f. Haiz pack my stuff already. Dunno what will happen to me when I go in. Some people say relax but some say tough but think I will enjoy it since I always like military stuff. Alright. I go prepare and enjoy for the meanwhile. See you guys in 2 weeks time.

Haha... that is the course i am enrolled too. It is cool. The course have 10 lesson each lesson talks about a reason and the exam so stress la. Need to really memorize if not you can't get full marks but so far through God's grace I took 4 exam and all got full marks and my current grade point average is maintained at 4.

Now I am currently reading very in-depth into the Lesson two to get better understanding. Let me get some interesting facts which are said in the course.

C.S. Lewis put it in his own memorable prose: The claims of Jesus indicate that He was a liar or a lunatic. Isn't this familiar. C.S Lewis wrote a book called Mere Christianity, he is trying to push away the idea that Jesus was just a moral Teacher but either he was God or He was some kind of lunatic. Jesus actually shows who he is more by what he does, than what He says. He lets His actions speak for whatever words he might have said.

Mark 4:37-41 describes on of the miracles as happening while the disciples were together with Jesus in a boat,crossing the sea of Galilee.

Whats more. All of use know that there are 66books in the bible but not everyone knows how many authors there is and written within how many years. But the course Goes through it.

Ok Let me reveal it. The books is written by some 40 human authors over a period of about 1,600 years. The 66books are broken down in to 1,189chapters and 31,173 verses 773,692 words and 3,566,480 letters.The bible tells us four perspective about God.

Perspective 1: God is Personal, Not a Force (Exodus 33:11)

He has a personal presence (Gen 3:8; Ex19:20; Mt3:17; Jn12:28)

He thinks with infinite intelligence (Isa 40:13-14)

He feels with a measureless capacity for emotion (Gen 6:6; Dt 29:20; Ps 111:4)

He loves (Jer 31:3; Jn 3:16; 1Jn 4:8)

He is personally watching over us.

He is personally thinking about us.

He is personally responds to what we say and think.

He has His own personal plans for us.

Perspective 2: God is Knowable, Not Just a mystery.

We can know God because we were created to know Him. According to the account of creation of man, God said, " Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" (Gen 1:26).

Because God is knowable:

We can know what he loves.

We can know what he hates.

We can know what he wants us to be.

We can know what he wants us to avoid.

Perspective 3: God is Immeasurable, Not Just Knowable

Descibing God's immeasureable superiority to men, he wrote: "My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are My way higher than your ways,and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isa55:8-9)

God doesn't need anyone or anything.

God is beyond our complete comprehension.

God deserves our worship and praise.

God has the right to demand our obedience.

God has unlimited power to help us.

Perspective 4: God is Good, Not Just Powerful.

In Gen 1:31 the biblical record of His creation concludes with these words: "Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good"

Because God is good, we can conclude that:

We can believe what He says to us.

We can have confidence in waiting for His rescue.

We can entrust our future to His care.

We can rely on His wisdom and guidance.

We can know that what He asks us to do is always the best for us.

Don Birthday Celebration

Woo-hoo, yesterday was Don belated birthday celebration at melban seafood. Did lots of things and also enjoy ourselves. Can you guess how many crab we have. But before that attendance taking. Ton, Luke, Don, Trina, Steph, linton, michelle and adeline were present. The rest are either busy our have something else. Ok answer now. We have 5 crabs. Cook in different ways. 1 - crab bee hoon, 2 - black pepper crab, 2 - fried butter creamy crab. That is the distribution of how the crab was cook and prepare. Erm our dishes we have kang kong, hot plate tofu and also pork ribs. We enjoy ourselves.

After that headed to bishan with only 7 and not 8 cause Ton have to do the editing and he went home first. So at first planning for some movie but the timing too late. So in the end we went arcade. we played the basketball games and Don even become a drummer. he is quite talented in some sense as he is able to follow the tempo. So what shall we do after arcade. Think there is short of one thing which is most important in birthday celebration. Yes that is it, it is cake.

We have the cake cutting ceremony at KFC. Don was sabo by Trina and Steph. When Don was about to eat both of them push the cake in his mouth and yup his face is full of cream and next two birthday which are coming up is feressa one on the 12th june and Trina's on the 22nd june. Becareful Trina this is your 21st birthday. You will get something really fun for us.

Stay Healthy Stay Fit

This is my Fit and Healthy Plan from now till my napfa test come. I will squeeze out 2 days to swim to build up my body strength. I will run 2.4 and keep improving on the timing and also go to gym. The fact is this week is so sad la only can swim on monday and Thursday and on Wednesday I actually have my FYP and I couldn't make it for the run. Miss one week of running man. I want to be able to get my Gold for napfa so that I do not need to go into army 2 mths earlier. haha. I think write till here ba.

A day that i feel so cheated

Hi, I am feeling so cheated man. Think most of you know what is network marketing. It is something like Multi-Level Marketing. One of my secondary school senior, that I have not been contacting for 2-3 years suddenly get my number few weeks ago and today I went to meet him cause he say want to have a gathering. We are suppose to meet at or town but later in the day he say clake quay is easier for him to go to from funan and so I agree. When we meet up, we went to have a drink and he told me that his office is nearby, wanted to ask me to go up his office. By this time I about knowing what is it already. I just do not know how to reject him and so I follow. He waste 5hrs of my time man. keep persuading me to join the company and I rejected him time and time again and so i left at around 9 plus. I think i stop here la. lol. Nothing much to blog le.

Love for Life

In bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 it says that, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." Isn't God great? He tell us and remind us in his words how love should be like. Although often we forget this points that we have to follow in your relationship, you blame each other for doing something wrong. God already said, Love keeps no record of wrong, so why must we blame each other? If we follow all these, our relationship will be lasting and God will bless us.

Everyone will have done something wrong before it is just how serious is it. Just have to tell yourself to forgive yourself and pray that others will forgive you too. When others wants to forgive you and you cannot forgive yourself what is the point? Jesus die on the cross more than 2000 years ago to cleanse our sins, if we dun forgive our sins then what is the purpose of God sending his only Son to die on the cross. Even the Almighty God can accept us and Love us why can't you love others and even yourself? God hates our sins but he still Love us. As long as you change and repent you should have forgive yourself.

How would you make sure that you will continue to follow the points got have give have in the area of love? Simply, seek God's word daily and he will reveal alot of things to you. Work towards God guidance today. Amen!

New Year New Vision

We have sent away year 2006 and now we are into year 2007. My new vision for year 2007 is that I will be able to get the top 5% in school again. Secondly, in church I pray that I will enter a ministry by year 2007. I have been in church for almost one year, last time as a faithful servent of God serving various ministry in my past church, I want to serve God with the gifts he give me this time round. I also pray for new gift which is the gift of song composing. I really like music so much that my prayer is all about music. With the gift of song-composing I will use the gift mightily in the expansion of the kingdom of God.

Now as for my G12, my vision will be that we will moving together as a whole winning the souls out there. We will be each other encourager and we will be so revive each time we talk to each other. I pray that they will follow the teaching of God and be a good testimony. They will be remembering their family members and not always hanging late so often. For example, after hearts of fire on friday night, it is so late, they can just eat and go home straight and dun followship too long as they will be late home. I hope we will have our own G12 mission. We will care for the youth that is less fortunate than us and outreach to them. This year christmas I hope we can go to the ophanage or children home to outreach to them so they get a chance to hear about the good news like we once have receive.

Revival

You all must be wondering when will be my next blog rite? LOL. Here comes the blog and updates of me currently. Haha... I am actually in spiritual ICU lately is that a lot of people do not observe that. I didn't do my devotion, I didn't pray but normal prayer like pray before I eat I still do that la. Why is my headline revival is that I am recover from my spiritual ICU... The devil didn't suceeded to draw me away from God. The time round the person that encourages me was Zi Hao. God is a good God. He place so many friends around me that can be someone that can encourage me in different time.

On 29th of Dec I do a worship at home myself, follow by the prayer and follow by reading of the bible. Really get to know alot from the bible. Let me give you the some verses I read today.

Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'who will ascend into heaven?' ( that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, " that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:5-9

These verses I find that they are very powerful conveying the message of faith. Well after being revived I am sure the devil will be planning for another attack but in the name of Jesus i will resist the devil.

Eat with Joshua and Zi hao after hearts on fire at mac yesterday. I have made a new friend which zi hao friend guess who is she? Her name is hui yun. Have a chat with her and find that actually a lot of her friends I know. lol. Shall not talk too much about her cause I still dunno her well but yup she is a nice girl, very friendly. Have a really great time with joshua and Zi hao. Joshua ar Joshua dun eat too much lol. Joshua is really a big eater. He ate one set of mac wings and one set of nuggets meal. Scary. lol. Joshua dun always get angry, we are playing with you de. You know we treasure you a lot. I pray that you will be growing up towards the Lord and let no things drift you away from God. For Zi Hao I think that your words sometimes are to harsh for someone to take it but you are a nice guy try to refrain to harsh a comment I think that will help you a lot. For me I grant you the authority to tell me anything straight because I want to grow towards the Lord and let no one distract me. I will stop here. Stay on for blog updates bye.

Faith and Prayer - Step One - DESIRE

"Our desires are of value to God..."

Our need must be heartfelt desire. Faith requires desire. Jesys says in Mark 11:24; "What things so-ever you desire when you pray..." Hebrews 11:1 says; "Faith is the substance of things hoped for...

If you are hoping for a thing --- that's desire. Our desire for important issues should become red-hot. Christianity is not a cool, heartless religion. Often God waits to see just how real our desire is. It is possible to feel guilty about some desires which the Holy Spirit places within our heart. For example jealousy for the ministry.We have to desire something before faith can come into play. Our desires is of value to God. It's His will to fulfil our dreams. When we are delighting in the Lord, our dreams and desires are formed in His Spirit, timing and purpose. Our relationship with God is vital to effective faith. Faith grows stronger through the hearing of the Word of God, through trails and through fellowship with God. If our delight in God begins to fade, our faith will fade too. It is always essential to maintain a vital, personal communion with the Lord.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

The First Step I took to Change

Hi everyone, miss my blog right? lol. Long time didn't blog le. Christian life is really not an easy road to walk. There are many up and down both spiritually and mentally. I too, struggle spiritually and mentally. Sometimes people around you can be a motivation for you to get back to the right track as for my brother who is a none christian have encourage me and challenge me to read my bible and pray rather than me wasting my time on games even though he believe in some other religion I am impress that he told me this rather than something out of his religion. With his challenge I stand up once again to read the bible. I have not read the bible and pray personally for quite sometime until recently. My influences in school and all the people around me have gave me a struggle to act as a bad testimony to many others. Now I think is time for me to change step by step with the faith that God will be able to change me because I know that I can't change myself with my own strength but to for strength from the Lord to help me along.

Today I read one chapter of the bible in Romans Chapter 14 about the weak and the strong and three chapters from a book name Faith by Dr Phil Pringle saying about the first three steps of Faith and Prayer. Let me share with you guys some interesting verses from Romans Chapter 14.

Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters. Romans 14:1

If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Romans 14:8.

This 2 verse really touch me and you all should be encouraging each other and not to discouraging each other. Now lets look at the flash and reflect what you always feel and think when you are having a hard time you think that Lord is backing off? No he is not. He is in front of you pulling you up and you are at the same time using your own strength. For every challenge you face, you will get stronger each time.

Apology To All Those that Have Experience my Attitude for past few weeks

First of All I think that today's blog is very important as this an apology to those that experience my attitude when we go out for the past few weeks. The few names that I probably remember experiencing my attitude are Melvin Kwok Zhan Hao, Don Ang Meng Huei, Christine Goh .. haha shall not spell your full name if not you will kill me, Marilyn, Lilian and Trina Wong Ben Qi. These are the few names I know for sure that had experience my attitude. I apologise to all of you is because I seek God recently to show me the way and found the following verses:

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17

Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses. Proverbs 27:6

It is really showing me that friends will never be not caring of how I feel but they will loves me. Their loves might not be shown but in their heart they do care. I trust that all of you do care when you see me having attitude towards you guys. Btw for the past few weeks I am really hit spritually by my past friends, I shall not tell you the whole story. I lost faith for God when I am growing spiritually, it is so clear that the devil is trying to obstruct my relationship with God. I can't remember where I heard this from but the phrase goes like this: Be strong and have faith in God, when the devil are challenging you, have faith in God that he will bring you out and I had found this verse too:

Be merciful to me, O God, for men hotly pursue me; all day long they press their attack. My slanderers pursue me all day long; many are attacking me in their pride. When I am afraid, I will trust you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Palsm 56:1-4

The above verse really apply to me lor. My are using their words to attack me. When I read of this verse I am revived that I need to trust God. God is the almighty and not one is stronger than him even he is weak. When he is weak, he is still stronger than us.

The Second part of the blog is that I want to talk about the movie I watch today. Guess What I watch. Haha, the movie is what you guys watch yesterday : Rob-b-hood.

A touching comedy.

Why would I say it is a touching comedy? In the first part of the show it is really funny, I shall not reveal the content but you have to watch yourself. Then in the later part where the baby is in danger, it really touching lor, the actors jackie chan and louis really risk their life to save the baby. One drop of my precious tears drop when the part was show. You all really have to go catch the movie if you all haven watch it. It is really worth it. Ok I shall stop here.

My Prayer Request

I am rather busy for the past few days because of my exam. For those who are looking this blog right now please pray for me that today my exam will be able to pass as I have not done a 8marks question which hold the most marks. Then pray for me that God will aniot me on coming out with ideas for my final year project. Pray God will give me the discipline to do research myself and get to know what to do for my project and how to do my project. I was being approach by my lecturer to start my proposal for my Final Year Project next year. So I really need God here to help me. One more thing is that pray that I will choose the right members to work with me in the Final Year Project. As God had intervene a lot of thing in providing the best people for me. I have faith that God will once again provide me with someone that can work at the same time have good ideas in mind. Thanks

God's miracle for me

Indeed I am very down yesterday knowing that my grades will not be good for yesterday class. I still remember that I pray very hard that God will help me and he really did. Today when I check my grades, I got an 'A' for my grade and my team mates got 'B' for the grade. I am so shocked that I can get that kind of grades and I really believe that it is God's miracle.

Today I am quite unsure of the problem statement answer and Thank God, I get to understand during the presentation and I was like supporting the mistake quite well and ask a few good question to the facilitator. I am so thankful to God and now I going to play audition... See ya...

Discouragement

Actually I dunno what to share today leh... But I am very discourage when I saw my web application daily grade. I got a 'B' man. I was expecting an 'A' for the grade as my team criteria has met above the average of the school requirement, we have both participation and understanding. I do not want to think of all that as I have faith that God will see me through my hard-time.

Lets talk about what I am thinking now. I am actually thinking of why am so bored now. No one message me, no one to chat with me so lonely lor. But nevermind you all dun chat with me I go chat with God... haha... Really got nothing to say... bye... catch me up tml when I got better mood...

Faith

Do you have Faith in what God is doing? Or are you just thinking that when God dun reply you, you should take the decision?

I personally ask myself this question today and I think that we must have in God that he will provide the best for us in his timing. I read this book titled: Faith by Dr Phil Pringle and one of the page actually says that, sometimes when God doesn't answer you, it doesn't mean it isn't God's will, we have to wait for his answer. I feel that it is very true. In Romans 14:23 it also says that "Whatever is not of faith is sin." Isn't it true? If we are not trusting God we are sinning.

Faith is a very big issue. Their are even sermon of fresh faith in our church. What is fresh faith? You know? We need to be ignited with fresh faith each day so that we will forget our saviour. How can you seek for fresh faith? The answer is very simple, seek and ask God. Seek his words ask for his guidance. Just this 2 simple thing you can have fresh faith but of cause you must be serious with him not to do all that just for fun la.

After know that when God dun answer my prayer it doesn't mean it is not his will, I have the perservance to continue to seek God and pray to him of my desire. Somethings we might have things in our heart that we doesn't want to share to people cause it is regarding personal life but God knows you best. Tell God your answer, let God minister to you and resolve the problem for you. When you are having hard time, seek God's word, it will give you encouragement and also it will give you the answer and tell you what to do sometime.

I think that sometime I am having a very hard time but by seeking God, I am more cheerful and I feel happier and sometimes things may not turn out to be what we wan but dun be discourage as it is for your good and God will always provides the best for us. So don't worry just do your best and God will do the rest.

So So So Busy

Hi everyone, 2 days didn't blog le. I am so busy and no time to blog. haiz today is a saturday, suppose to go for heart.sports but my exam is next week la, cannot go for the heart.sports. Lets talk about the past 2 days. On the wednesday, I was being called by my boss to go help him capture the hospital equpiments for him. Then I am song leading on that day and thank God I wanted to take cab and he gave me $20 to take cab to the G12. I reach there and started leading worship but the whole followship short of stephenie and Debrina abit weird weird de. I am thinking in year 2008 when all the 3guys, Zi hao, Melvin and me goes to the army, how will the G12 be like?

Then on thursday, Christine ask me to teach her guitar and I actually prepare a list of things to teach her already but when I see her I do not know what to teach her as she did call her friend along too, it is fine but I am shy to teach. Haha. Cause I dunno her friend ma. After that, I call my last time church friend Richard to come down and meet me. we went to have supper and after that Christine ask us to play basketball. I was playing so lousy and lazy to run also. haha. Then at around 11 plus her friend and my friend all go home le then left me and Chirstine. Have a chat and went to 7 eleven to get a drink then send her home and she ask me to save the notes in the thumb drive and borrow the guitar from me. I lend her lor, haha and then left to go home.

Friday, haha, interesting and outreach to one of my china classmate at the MRT station. I feel very strongly that it was God that show me this contact. She is very keen to know more about church from her way she response to me when I share with her the Grace of God. I invited her to come along to our hearts on fire which is the live worship gig but she say it is too late and say maybe next time. But nevermind perservance will bring her to church and to God one day. Guess what she told me? She told me on sunday if she got nothing on she will meet me to go church. So happy really must pray for this contact when I reach out to her. After hearts on fire, I went to eat with Trina they all. Suppose to be very happy de but I saw my sad memories which is a group of my secondary school NCC cadet lieutenant la. They all depise me as they think I am not loyal to the school and went to other school NCC. The fact is that, in that school there are too many CLTs and it is very difficult to have a role as an CLT there. They may in someway see me as someone that is not loyal to the school NCC. They are always competing with the school I am teaching NCC at. My unit have done me proud, they are the Best NCC land boys unit and Overall best in NCC. For God have help me to teach them well and not being look down by others. Thank God. After the supper we actually went home and I walk Christine home. On the way Chirstine ask me a question that makes me very pai sae lor. She ask me like that walk her home very fun meh? I am so pai sae and I dunno what to answer also. haha. The whole journey is so quiet and we did not talk as if we do not know each other. I think next week I will not be eating with you all again le. Not because of her huh is because need to go home early and my exam is there need to study. Maybe will not be around with you guys for quite a while and I will meet you guys in church ba. Assurance of your Salvation

I dunno why but feel let sharing this on my blog. I have read it on Sunday but I feel like sharing it now. I know that somethings to stay in God's kingdom and always keep our heart burning for God is difficult but have you ever think of who is the one that save us? Who is the one that suffer 6 hours of pain on the cross to just wash away our sin?

Firstly, Let us think of What Is The Spiritual Condition Of Your Soul Before God?

I think it is very important to know the condition of our eternal soul. How can we know the condition of our eternal soul? You may want to ask yourself the following question.

Q1) If you were to die right now, where would you spend eternity?
Q2) Supposing you arrive at the gates of heaven, what would you say to God if He asked you why He should let you in?

This two question sounds very familiar rite? We often use it during outreach to ask the people that we outreach to. But have you think that if you are asking them that question when they are not a christian, why not ask youself to check the condition of your soul? If you cannot come out with an answer you really need a prayer to God so that you can get back your fresh faith.

Secondly, there are four aspects of God's Work of Salvation.

1) Repentence - it is a radical transformation of thought, attitude, outlook and direction in regard to sin. Our minds become open to God and to the Person and work of Jesus Christ on the Cross to forgive our sins. It means a decision to turn away from your old sinful way of life, living as you please. You now acknowledge Jesus Christ and honor Him as your Loard and Saviour. Repentence is so important as I already say it is a transformation and so when you repent you must change and not do it again.

"Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" Matt 4:17

2) You now have a new life, a new beginning. When you receive salvation you will be born again no as a baby but spiritually born.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God...unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God" John 3:3,5

So from the verse above you see how important for you to be born again?

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new", 2 Cor 5:17

3) "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ", Romans 5:1

As we know the only way to heaven is through salvation and we need to have faith and Trust Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

4) "In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" Eph 1:7

You were once slave to your sin and desires. But now, Christ have set you free so that you can live your life to serve and please God.

Remember this 4 aspects when you think that your salvation is not there. Ask yourself who set you free? When you repent did you change? Do you have faith in God? This will ensure that your spiritual growth is alright isn't it?

Thirdly, the God's Promises For You In Salvation.

1) Eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life", John 3:16

2) Forgiveness of sins. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9

3) Position of a son. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believes in His name", John 1:12

4) Inheritance with Christ. "And if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that may also be glorified together", Rom 8:17

Lastly, The Results of Salvation.

1) A hunger to read and study the Bible.
2) A desire to be in church and fellowship with other Christians.
3) A knowledge and desire to live a holy life for God.
4) An impulse to speak to other people about what Christ has done for you.

Do you have an experience of salvation? If not, seek God for it. He will give it to you.

All these are references that I read from victory family centre Singapore Pre-Encounter student notes. If you wan to encounter God today, have faith and trust him today.

A Day Of Slacking

Although I am very tired now but I still decided to blog. Just a very short one. Haha. Today my class is super slack la, early in the morning we complete the problem statement already. After we got nothing to do so we sat down and slack. After sometime my team start to crap as they start pronouncing my name wrongly, I started to crap telling them that my previous class there is one person that pronounce my name wrongly then the next moment the person is lying outside the class. So I ask the person you wan to see yourself outside? Then they starting laughing saying that the way I say it is very funny. That also became the joke of the day as everyone started to say you want to sit outside is it?

Then in the afternoon, it is time for the presentation and the lecturer is not in the class yet, so when the lecturer come in, I make fun of him saying a ground rulez of our class is that if a lecturer is late for class he/she must give us better grades. Then he started laughing and say there is no such rules and I say if not give everyone $1 also can then he say wah I so money face. Haha... But I am joking la. Later on when I finish lesson, I went to causeway point with jee yon and guan soon to eat and jee yon went to play house of dead 4. All these actually ends my day with me practising the songs that I going to song lead and amazingly, I found a new way to strum the song King Of Majesty but I will ask for people comment to see which one is nicer.

My eyes is closing le... Think I stop here today. Update you guys more tml.

What is Life?

Today went for my morning service and the preacher is pastor chui. I do not know why that everytime pastor chui preach it will be something that concern me. As I feel that life is so hopeless, her preaching strength my thoughts and not to think negatively. For the past few days, my thoughts are all about the bad things but recently the preaching is always so encouraging to me that I do not think of those negative thoughts again.

Today pastor chui talk about Christ the Wisdom and Power of God as she reinforce with the following verse:

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom. ~1 cor 1:18-22

This powerfully tell me about Christ as the wisdom and power of God.

Life isn't about having the desire to want what you want. She also gives us an illustration saying that there are church members that are very on fire once but because of their desires to be better as human will never be content they have left church. I have told myself, I do not want to one of them as I have once backslided and I do not what that to happen in my life again. The best thing that will make me not to backslide is to read God's Word, ask God, Seek God and Knock. After service I actually went off to together with ming huei, melvin and one more girl I do not know her name but I know is matthew cousin but melvin stays at Yishun northpoint as he says he is meeting his friend and so me, ming huei and the girl went off to take train towards jurong east. I alighted at Sembawang as I wanted to go to the Christian Shop to take a look. I went to Mos burger to have my lunch and then to the library to read some bible. Then have a short nap in the library. After that when I was about to set off for my guitar lesson, I went to the Christian look and take a look and saw this book that talks about how to overcome my hurts through God and I am quite interested, I think I will get the book next week.

After that I want for my guitar lesson and guess who is my teacher? Haha... It is no other than my last semester class mate Lai JeeYon. Learn alot of thing from him but I cannot tell you now cause it is confidential and I did pay money to learn ok. Have a wonderful session with him. I think he must be very tired have me as his student but he is very patience la... I will go to visit him soon for another lesson. Ok I think I will stop here today. See ya and read out my blog tml.

Community Outreach 23 Sep 2006

Today is quite a boring day for me. lol. Early morning wake up and think of what songs to lead for worship in G12 this coming wednesday. Chosen 3 songs and they are: King of Majestic, Glory to the King and Jesus Lover of my Soul. I am practising the whole morning as I want to give the best and play my best for God. During the session I actually let the holy spirit to flow in me as I play the songs. The holy spirit that is guiding me really makes me play well and there is not much mistake to my surprise. I practise till all my finger skin harden sia.

Then later in the afternoon, I went for Community Outreach. I am doing unit 4 and when the notes is issue to me, my eyes pop out sia. So many things. So I decided to take the unit during the next outreach. I am in the spirit of outreaching when I reach the place and so I started with the first person. The person seems so scare of me sia, I walk one step in front he will walk one step behind. Everything started off smoothly but I was too nervous and I did not introduce myself and ming huei and I only tell him where I from. I also forget to ask for his name. As I share, I go in sequence from the 2 diagnostic question to Grace to Man to God and the Christ part is the part where I share wrongly. I am so discourage when I know I share wrongly. Then I was so afraid as Ming huei is standing beside me and looking at me. Then I just stop and ask ming huei anything to add and he say to him thank you and there he went off. After that ming huei ask me what am I doing? Didn't introduce all that and share wrongly. Then I was like so discourage. Then we still have to continue our outreach and I saw an indian and so I ask ming huei that whether he want to tried on him? So we decided to go forward and share. He is quite hard a person for us to share the gospel with as what we say he say he couldn't decide. At last he actually asked us to summarise the whole thing and ming huei did. As ming huei ask for his contact he refuse to give and so ming huei gave him his number. There goes our second person. Then we saw the third person and I was like discourage but ming huei ask me to share so I take out my courage and ask him and this time round I remember to ask him his name, and we did introduce ourselves but his face makes me panick because he like dun care. As a result I share till the part of Grace and I was stucked, I gave signal to ming huei to help me but he didn't help me until I tell him verbally, I am thinking the person must be thinking even you as a christian cannot share properly how can he be convinced. So Ming huei came in to help out. He share a lot of thing and similarly he is not willing to give his contacts so be it we didn't force him. Ming huei say we will outreach to one last one and that's it we will go back. So we sawhis muscular guy and I approach him. After sharing with him, he told us he is from a methodist school and he can actually play volleyball and is willing to give us his contact and he tick the observation portion for us also. Guess what he tick? He tick good for further contact. So happy and spiritually up again. haha.

When I reach back to the bbq pit, there is a new contact brought by trina and stephenie. They are a bunch of boys that like soccer a lot and so we have a game of soccer. I am so tired lor as I also dunno how to play soccer also. LOL. but I think it is worth it that I could make them feel welcome and they will continue to come to our church activities and really wish to see them again.

One last thing. This idiot Christine send me this message saying need me to call her urgently and got a bad news to tell me. I didn't border to read further as I didn't read carefully as I am on the phone with my Ncc friends. When I call her she say I am a idiot and ask me to continue to read and so I read then I found out I have been tricked. Christine I tell you next time will not be trick by you again. GTG. The Cry to God

Today have a wonderful time in class. Everyone is like so hardworking in my class lor haha. At the first part of the day I couldn't really solve the problem given to me but God had show me a friend that could help me in the work and I manage to have it done by 12.15pm and I had a long 1hr 15min break. I am so glad that I able to the problem and understand the problem. As programming is always difficult in the context of me but along prayers by myself and my G12 members for my logic to work in me, I finally get the wisdom of logic to work on the programming problem.

After school I actually had a meeting in school library about the buzzer bazzar thingy. That I would need to come out with a proposal. In the midst of the proposal discussion, Christine message me to ask me whether I want to give miralyn love offering for her birthday a not. I actually agree that I would like to, but I do not have much money at the moment. But managable to give some. But as I am late for Hearts On Fire, I take train to yishun and take a cab to church, I wish not late for church by then and I had overuse the amount I going to give for the offering. At first I am thinking, how can I tell Christine as I have agree to give already. But pastor chui share a very wonderful message today. So going to be honest, after service I message Christine to tell her that I will not be giving the love offering and tell her the true reason but until now she had not reply me or anything to acknowledge it. If you are miralyn reading this blog, I would like to apologise to you that I did not do much on your birthday but I would like to wish you a happy belated birthday and God bless you.

Lets talk about the verse that pastor chui had preach and I find it interesting to share with you guys.

The verse are as follow:

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
luke 18 : 7-8

Yes this verse has touch me. I will cry out to Jesus all the problem I have and I have faith in him that he will bless me. Let everyone that read this blog cry out to God and you will have faith that God will provide you with the best.

Jesus Spoke to me!!!!

I apologise to those that saw my post yesterday. I would have to delete the post. It is because, God spoke to me something. Yesterday while I am doing my devotion at burger King, I actually come across this verse and it goes like that.

"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting, I will tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." Matthew 6: 16-18.

The verse really speaks to my heart, as I have announce on the msn that I am fasting but fasting is not for me to show people. It is between me and God, so now that I know I am not suppose to say, I must not announce next time. But these few days I really revived. Now I have to tell you this that, if you are spiritually down, you really really really need to seek God now. By reading God's word the fire in you will ignite once again and you will be feel with fresh faith.

I wish to share with you guys one more verse that will stir your faith in God as it says

Ask and it will be given to you;seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you. Matt 7:7

God already asked you to ask,seek and knock. If you don't ask will he give? If you dun seek will you find? If you dun knock will he open the door for you. If you are a christian, rite now you need to ask, seek and knock the door of God so that he will answer you. If you do not know christ, you shall soften your heart and go to a church one day and experience God's love for you. You will feel so wonderful as church is not what you think that is so boring. But you will find Joy in God.
